We tried to start back to school last week. It didn’t go so well. I believe the exact words out of my mouth were “Public school doesn’t start for another 2 two weeks, I’m sure I can still enroll you, if you don’t want to cooperate” this is an ongoing issue, and I don’t make that threat lightly, I flat out asked this child if they would rather go to school and they said no. So that leaves me with a child that wants to stay home but doesn’t want to do the work. They accused me of trying to make the do school in the middle of summer!

Homeschooling is hard. Why do I even want to do this? Again. I know what happens. So we had our art day last week and I threw in the towel and decided to give us a few days to regroup. A…
